Printable counter card

An A6 card (105 × 148 mm) with your business name, QR code and number. Print it, then slide it into a table stand or tape it by your till.

In the print window, choose A6 paper, or print on A4 and trim. Turn off headers and footers, and keep scale at 100%.

Website chat button

Paste the code just before </body> on your site, or into a custom HTML block in WordPress, Wix or Squarespace.

Where to paste your link

  • Instagram bio. Go to Edit profile, then Links, and add your link as an external link. Name it something clear, such as "Order on WhatsApp".
  • Facebook page. Edit your page's action button and choose a WhatsApp or "Send message" option, or add the link to your page's About section and pinned post.
  • X (Twitter). Add the link to the Website field in your profile, and pin a post with the link and what you sell.
02How to use your link

Five places your link brings in chats

Put the link everywhere customers already look for you. Every tap opens a chat with your number and message ready to go.

01

Your Instagram bio

Most Instagram shoppers want to ask a question before they buy. Put your WhatsApp link in your bio and say "DM on WhatsApp to order" in your captions, so people don't have to copy your number from a post.

02

Your Facebook page button

Set your page's main button to WhatsApp, and add the link to your pinned post. If you run click-to-WhatsApp ads, use the "I saw your ad" template so you can tell which chats came from ads. Our ad budget calculator shows what those ads could cost, and the ARCON approval guide covers the approval most Nigerian adverts need.

03

Your Google Business Profile

People who find you on Google Maps often want to check opening hours or stock first. Add your WhatsApp link as your website or booking link if you don't have a site, and mention WhatsApp in your business description.

04

Flyers, packaging and shop counters

Print the QR code on flyers, receipts, delivery bags and product labels, and put the counter card by your till. A customer who liked their order can reorder in seconds, without searching for your number.

05

Checkout pages and email signatures

Add the link to your Paystack or Flutterwave payment page description, your order confirmation emails and your email signature. Customers with a question about payment or delivery can reach you straight away, rather than giving up.

03WhatsApp Business tips

Get more from every chat

A link brings people in. These free WhatsApp Business features help you reply faster and close more sales.

01

Set up your catalogue

Add your products with photos, prices and short descriptions. Customers can browse without asking "how much?" for every item, and you can send a product straight into a chat.

02

Save quick replies

Save answers to the questions you get every day: prices, delivery areas, account details, opening hours. Type "/" in a chat to pick one, then tweak it before you send.

03

Use greeting and away messages

A greeting message thanks new customers and tells them what to expect. An away message tells people when you'll reply if they write after hours, so they don't go elsewhere.

04

Label your chats

Use labels such as "New order", "Paid", "Delivered" and "Follow up" to keep track of each customer. Filter by label at the end of the day to see who still needs a reply.

04Questions

WhatsApp link FAQs

Does this work with WhatsApp Business?

Yes. A wa.me link works the same way for WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business numbers. The chat opens in whichever app the customer has installed.

Is the generator really free?

Yes. There's no sign-up and no limit. Your link and QR code are made in your browser, so we don't store your number, and they keep working even if you never come back to this page.

Will the message be sent automatically?

No. The link opens a chat with your message already typed in. The customer can change it, and nothing is sent until they tap send.

Can I use a landline number?

Only if that landline is registered on WhatsApp Business, which lets you verify a number by voice call. If WhatsApp isn't set up on the number, the link will show an error. Test your link before you share it.

How do I add the link to my Instagram bio?

Copy your link, open Instagram, tap Edit profile, then Links, then Add external link. Paste it, give it a title such as "Chat on WhatsApp" and save.

Does the QR code expire?

No. The QR code simply holds your wa.me link, so it works for as long as your number is on WhatsApp. If you change your number, make a new code and reprint.

Please note: this tool builds standard wa.me links, which open in WhatsApp on the customer's phone or computer. It runs entirely in your browser and doesn't send or store your number. Crea8Hub is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
