When are the Sallah holidays in 2027?
Eid-el-Fitr is expected around 9 and 10 March 2027, and Eid-el-Kabir around 16 and 17 May 2027. The exact days depend on the moon sighting, and the Federal Government confirms them shortly before.
When is Ramadan in 2027?
Ramadan is expected to start around 8 February 2027 and end around 8 March 2027. This means Valentine's Day falls during Ramadan, so plan respectful campaigns.
When are the 2027 elections in Nigeria?
INEC's revised timetable sets the presidential and National Assembly elections for 16 January 2027 and the governorship and State Assembly elections for 6 February 2027. Expect movement restrictions on both days.
When is Mother's Day in Nigeria in 2027?
Nigeria follows the UK-style Mothering Sunday, which falls on 7 March 2027, not the May date used in the United States.
